Cardservice International Information Miva / LinkPoint Configuration It is a simple and quick process configuring Miva to use LinkPoint as your payment processing system. This 5 step tutorial shows you how to do it. Step 1 - Locate your "Welcome to LinkPoint API" e-mail. Open up the e-mail with the subject "Welcome to LinkPoint API" Step 2 - Copy Information Write down your "Store ID" number. Write down your "Secure Host". Write down your "Port" number. Step 3 - Create Digital Certificate In the email, there should have been a grouping of random characters. the whole group should start with "START PRIVATE KEY" and end with "END CERTIFICATE FILE". Copy that entire group. Go into a text program like Notepad and paste everything in there. Name it "cert.pem". Step 4 - Upload the Digital Certificate Go into your account (with an FTP program), and find your "mivadata" directory or your "htsdata" directory (if you cannot find it, please contact Beck Web Servers & Design Support). Inside there, create a directory named "LinkPoint". You need to name it exactly the same, capital "L", capital "P". Inside the LinkPoint directory, put your "cert.pem" file. Step 5 - Configure Miva Merchant Go back into your Miva admin.mv screen and to the LinkPoint config screen. Enter the following.
